The mature trees provided a picturesque canopy, adorned with a tapestry of blooming flora. Marvelous lakes dotted the landscape, home to ducklings under the watchful eye of their protective mother. A short stroll away, the expansive deer park thrived with over 700 fallow deer, imparting a sense of timeless majesty that has endured for over 500 years.

Additionally, Petworth House features an impressive art collection, delectable dining options, and numerous spots perfect for simply enjoying the magnificent views. March weather can be chilly, but the bright sunshine offered a delightful contrast. To combat the occasional gusts, we recommend bringing a warm coat to keep you cozy as you traverse the expansive 700-acre estate. The estate is encompassed by a 14-mile wall, serving as a testament to its grandeur and history.
