Embarking on the Journey to Piscilago:

Arriving in style, we opted for a car ride, and luckily, there’s an extensive parking area available. Remember to grab a ticket from the small booth to ensure a hassle-free departure later on. Pro tip: beat the rush by paying for parking upfront.

Finding Comfortable Accommodation:

During our visit we chose to stay in Melgar, a nearby town boasting a plethora of wonderful hotels. These accommodations are well-equipped with inviting pools and cater to the influx of tourists, especially those coming from Bogota.

Expectations of the Climate:

Get ready for some scorching days and balmy evenings! Piscilago enjoys a year-round temperature of 32 to 34 degrees Celsius (90-94 degrees Fahrenheit) with minimal rainfall. Don’t forget the sun cream and opt for stylish t-shirts to shield yourself from the sun’s rays.

Satisfying Your Taste Buds:

Covering an expansive 80 hectares, equivalent to 200 football pitches, Piscilago is dotted with many dining options throughout its premises. Keep in mind that the restaurants might have queues, so it’s wise to plan your meals beforehand to avoid long waits when hunger strikes.

Indulge in the Delights of Water:

Take a dip or bask in the sun by the eight sprawling pools Piscilago has to offer. Make sure to arrive early and aim for a mid-week visit to avoid lengthy queues for the water slides.

The Thrill of the Slides:

Piscilago doesn’t just boast vast pools but also offers a great range of water slides. There are over 20 exhilarating water slides that cater to all ages and adventure levels. The most popular is the Megatobogan, a 504-meter long slide that promises a thrilling ride.
